Total Patient Care Management
A nursing approach in which one nurse gives complete care to a single patient or a group of patients throughout his or her shift is known as total patient care. During that shift, the nurse attends to all of the patient’s requirements, and in certain instances, the nurse provides care until the patient’s medical needs are met.
PCM (Patient Care Management) is a method for enrolling or assigning patients to treatments throughout the health and disease spectrum. Wellness examinations and regular screenings, utilization reviews, event emphasis, short-term case management, and long-term chronic disease management are all part of it.
Giving excellent patient care may have a significant impact on health outcomes. It leads to a more pleasant patient recovery experience and may help individuals with severe diseases like cancer improve their physical and emotional quality of life.
