How We Invest

EARLY STAGE

We are long-term investors, and we build lasting partnerships with founders and leaders of great businesses. These partnerships are often established after the company has raised seed capital, developed a proof of concept, and obtained some market validation.

Our initial investment is typically into Seed or Series A rounds and we stay with our companies through follow-on investments

TECHNOLOGY OPTIMISTS

We believe technology can fundamentally change and improve healthcare and help create more efficient, transparent and accessible healthcare systems.

Our companies are at the forefront of innovation and are building the next generation of health technology companies that will inspire global improvement in healthcare.

ACTIVE MANAGEMENT

We are ‘hands-on’ investors. We take an active approach, we provide ongoing support, help build teams, and secure key customers when needed.

With a strong network of industry partners and co-investors, we ensure our portfolio companies have capital and resources to grow.

CAPITAL EFFICIENCY

Our investments are expected to generate attractive returns driven by our strategic capital deployment and focus. We maximize returns by building strategic alliances, expanding networks and providing active management.

STAGE

Investments will be in early stage companies ranging from pre-Seed rounds through pre-IPO with initial investments focused on Seed and Series A rounds

AREAS

We look for groundbreaking HealthTech ideas focusing on digitization of healthcare, emergence of consumer MedTech, and consumerization of health and wellness

LOCATIONS

We invest primarily in companies located in Canada, the US and Israel that target markets in North America and Europe
